Porsche has announced it will be launching the Cayenne Diesel SUV in India. The sporty SUV is equipped with a 6 cylinder 240-horsepower turbo diesel engine and a Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Porsche is hopeful the new Diesel SUV will appeal to the new growing Indian middle class who are also conscious of increasing gas costs. An official launch date has not been announced, but its expect to be mid to late 2009.
